Nowadays all I hear people talk about is how times are hard, financially and otherwise, and they are not wrong, for the struggle is real.
Yesterday I heard somebody say. “This is just the beginning! things are going to get worse!”, suddenly I felt a pinch of anxiety.
My faith makes me understand that God allows struggle and difficult times because of our sinful nature; as such we all come short of the glory of God. However, God loves us, in spite of our sinful nature. He allows difficult times to happen for us to become better in nature.
Yesterday when I had that moment of anxiety, I reminded God of His faithfulness, and I asked that He grant us wisdom and understanding so that we can withstand any experience of failure, pain, and struggle, to help us grow stronger in our faith and to become closer to Him.
The Covid pandemic crisis taught me many things, one of them being that God may not always take us out of hard times, but He will certainly take our hand and walk with us through every valley of darkness.
In knowing God will never leave us shall be enough to get us through difficult times.
No matter what is going on in your life, or where you find yourself today, know that Jesus is with you every step of the way.
God is forever faithful.
Good morning and God bless your day!
